This site is primarily about Sheikh Nur-din-Noorani (rahmatullah alayh), fondly known as "nund reshi", and "Alamdar-e-Kashmir" who is the patron saint of Kashmir.
Nund Reshi (also known as Sheikh Noordeen Wali, Sheikh Noor-ud -Din Noorani, Sheikh-ul -Alam, Alambardar-e-Kashmir) is the patron saint of Kashmiri popular religion. He is also known for his shruks, short poems, which are often about his own inner spiritual struggle.
Nund Rishi, was a great Muslim saint and scholar, who delivered depthless spiritual knowledge in a language so simple, that though it was largely aimed at the Kashmiri peasantary it was so profound that even great scholars and grammarians have not been able to match its effectiveness.
Walking in the footsteps of the great saint, the site also takes the traveller through Kashmir, and then introduces the work of some other famous sufi saints and scholars, to equip the seeker with a basic understanding for his/her journey on the "Path".
